Lisa Bedtelyon

Lisa Bedtelyon completed her undergraduate studies at Trinity International University and earned her Bachelors in Psychology. She worked several years in administration for a non-profit organization. Lisa later continued her education at Asbury Theological Seminary, obtaining a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, graduating with honors. Lisa worked several years for the University of Louisville Peace Hospital completing risk assessments and engaging in the referral process for mental health patients of all ages. She then transitioned to working as a Residential Therapist at the Kentucky United Methodist Home, while becoming trained in Child Centered Play Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Relationship Enhancement Therapy and Filial Therapy. Lisa has several years of experience working directly with children/adolescents and families who have experienced significant trauma and family conflict. Lisa is certified in the premarital counseling model Prepare/Enrich, TFCBT, and Child Centered Play Therapy. She strives to provide excellent care for her clients and the community.
